Currently there is a limited Northbound rail service from Corby but the Welland Valley Rail Partnership are proposing a Kettering-Corby-Stamford-Peterborough rail link that has already gained good support from local MPs and councils along the route.
David Fursdon of Corby Rail Users said “Corby Rail Users are backing Welland Valley Rail and it is vital the town is accessible to more destinations by rail and we wish the project every success”
