There has been today some very sad news from our neighbouring rail re-opening Campaign to Re-Open the Ivanhoe Line (CRIL) of the death of their chair Geoff Bushell from Covid-19.

Geoff and the rest of the CRIL team have blazed a trail that has made it easier for campaigns such as ours to follow and removed a number of barriers, and Geoff gave us many hints and tips about what to do – and what to avoid. He will be a sorely missed member of the rail activist community.
While a vaccine may be close, this is another reminder that we all need to stay safe, follow advice & protect our loved ones until it arrives.
